About Sin Hambre
Sharing food is an integral part of Hispanic and Latino cultures
Who We Are
Sin Hambre is a cultural affinity group of the North Texas Food Bank led by the North Texas based Hispanic and Latino community. Because sharing food is such an integral part of Hispanic and Latino cultures, our community has a meaningful role to play in our collective effort to combat hunger and make healthy foods more accessible.
What We Do
- •Increase awareness of food insecurity in our community with the goal of inspiring action
- •Encourage healthy, nutritious food choices and organize volunteer events and food drives
- •Engage community leaders, corporate partners, and churches in the effort
- •Raise funds and collect donations to support NTFB's mission

The North Texas Food Bank is committed to closing the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food for all. With 13 counties served, approximately one-third of the people we help are from Hispanic and Latino communities.

Through partnerships with over 300 community organizations, food pantries, and programs, the North Texas Food Bank distributes millions of nutritious meals each year to children, families, and seniors facing hunger.
